Whim - review

Whim is a brand new dating app that focuses on getting its users out on dates as quickly as possible. One of a rash of new sites that is trying to cut down on the time it takes to get to know someone online, Whim promises to more or less sort out the date for you, complete with time and place suggestions to you and your match.

One of the more unique features in the app is a sort of calendar, that track its users availability so that dates can be arranged for you.

Whether you’re into this sort of thing or not really depends on whether you prefer lots of face to face meetings or not. If you think you can only really judge someone ‘in the flesh’ then this app offers a time efficient way to get out with other singles.  

This app has been lauched in Los Angeles and is due to roll out through 2015, so you may have a bit of a wait until it hits the UK. Nonetheless, with some big names behind it and successful beta testing thus far, Whim is one to watch.
